Easy 2 Digit Multiplication Trick for Competitive Exams - Vedic Method




Dear Aspirants,

In competitive exams like Banks, SSC, Railway & other state exams where time management plays a very important role, quick multiplication is very important to minimize the time, So there is a method called urdhvatiryak method for multiplication, in this method, more you practice then you will take less time for solving.

first of all, we take some simple multiplication numbers like 23 * 31

STEP 1: for solving 23 multiply 31 we have to write in this order shown below

         



 STEP 2: In the below arrangement, we solve like this



 STEP 3: After that, there is an addition method given below




Starting from the right-hand side the unit digit place of 03 number 3 is directly placed after that tens no. 0 is added with next no. 11 which will give 11 and unit digit no. 1 is below written, then unit digit no. 1 is added with next no. 06 and resultant give 7.

So, 23 × 31 = 713

  • Let's take another Example 83 × 89

        for multiplying this

So, 83 × 89 = 7387

after practising more multiplications questions you can easily solve them within 10 seconds. Do calculations a little bit in mind and solve 35 × 16

  • Example) 35 × 16
          write in the below format

 


Square of 2 Digit Number

You can do square any of two numbers also with this method, Let's try a square of 34

34 × 34
